207. Mother's Day-a poem
Note- Mother's Day was first celebrated in the US in 1908.
[ 1 ]
Our home is aromatic with your fragrance,
Our shelter is supermatic with your radiance
You are incense, convenience, and coveyance
My dear Mother! You are for children, the best defence.
. [ 2 ]
You keep on buzzing around the garden,
You catch up with relatives, following the tradition.
You potter around the house, with gratitude
Gaiety is spread with a sweet attitude.
[ 3 ]
I feel good when your voice echoes
Your laughter echoes, your scolding echoes,
Your guidance, your calling out my name
echoes, and re-echoes.
[ 4 ]
A best friend, an anchor, and giggle-dost, you are
Cheerleading, squad, and lifeline, you are
Researching point, trivia collector
So many descriptors are to say, you are.
[ 5 ]
None can do justice to your place
On your lap, it was a privilege to get
"A beautiful space."
