                Our parents give  birth, so they are esteemed

                 Grandparents provide berth, so they are deemed.

                                            [2]

               Parents bring up children, so  they are revered

              Grandparents impart values, so they are treasured. 

                                            [3] 

               When Children, err,  parents feel  pain 

               When grandparents mentor - "they learn to gain."

                                            [4]

             Grandparents are the roof,  parents are the floor

              Lucky are those who have all four.
