NOTE- NEITHER-NOR is used to show that a negative statement is true of two things.

Q. Why is this conjunction called "Correlative Conjunction"?

Ans- The conjunctions that are used in pairs are called "Correlative Conjunctions".

          "Correlative Conjunctions". are 8 in number-

 1. either/or

  •  2. neither/nor
  • 3.  such/that
  • 4.  whether/or
  • 5.  not only/but also
  • 6.  both/and
  • 7.  as many/as
  • 8.  no sooner/than
  • 9.  rather/than
