90. King Bruce and Spider { a poem }
===
There was a king of Scotland
The name was Robert The Bruce
With his defeat in war with England He was badly bruised.
Deeply depressed he ran away
Dropped the idea of establishing his sway.
Hid himself after reaching a cave
From the enemies, to keep him safe.
Sitting there in a pensive mood
Saw a spider climbing towards the roof.
To reach its destination, six times it failed
Trying and trying, ultimately it gained.
The spider’s determination instilled courage
The king freed himself from the feeling of scourage.
He gathered his force and fought bravely
Emerged victorious against his enemy.
The moral of the story is Try, Try Again
Never lose heart
The moral of the story is Try, Try Again
Never lose heart
if something
you want to gain.
you want to gain.
