101 Diwali is a festival not for the Hindus alone !-a poem

 


 India is famous for “Unity in Diversity”

Different cultures and different festivities. 

Diwali is only one of the great festivals

That is celebrated by all communities.

The Hindus celebrate it
 to welcome Lord Rama's return

The Jains celebrate
{ because  by Lord Mahavira}
Nirvana  was attained

 The Sikh”s Guru “Guru Hargobind Singh”
 was released on the day
{ byThe Mughal Emperor Jahangir} 
“A day of Diwali marks his return."

Alas! is said by so-called gurus 
 “Diwali is a festival of The Hindus"
When educated people say so, what to say.
Trashing the sheen of an auspicious day.


The onus goes on the new generation
Tell your elders not  to create friction
Diwali is a festival of new ventures
Let”s together make the celebration.

           HAPPY DIWALI !
