100 NON-VIOLENCE-A COWARDICE OR PEACEFUL WAR ? -a poem

 ==

Non-violence or Ahimsa
What does it mean?
Refusing to fight
         or
 bow down on your knees?

No, it's not cowardice
  It's a  brave caprice,
 to face blows head-on
Non-violence is mightier than the mightiest weapon of destruction
It was Gandhi Ji who used to believe the instruction.

 During Non-Co-operation Movement
When  protesters were bashed up, In retaliation
, Demonstrators, set fire to a police station
Non-violent  Bapu Ji  sat with a broken heart
Appalled at this act, went on five a day fast
Was it timorousness on Gandhi”s part?
No, certainly not-----------------------------

“Anger is the enemy of non-violence”

His was quote, in its contrast.

Hatred is not essential for nationalism
Violence will give you violent freedom.
Whenever you are confronted with your opponent
Conquer him with love, he said to embolden.

The path of non-violence was not that easy
Gandhi Ji told them who were in a tizzy.
First, they ignore you, then laugh at you
You will win, even when they fight you.

“An eye for an eye

only ends up making

the whole world blind”

With dirty feet, I  will  not let anyone

 walk through my mind.

Though at a large scale, Gandhiji was criticized
Still  “DO or DIE” phrase
The unperturbed saint applied
India will no longer be under control
British Imperial Govt was soon made realized.

Finally, we all  Indians  got independence
It was the magic of  Gandhi”s  non-violence.
The whole world  stood aghast at the sight
How can one win without any fight!
