1- Why do we always capitalize the letter" I "?---------------------------------------------------------------------
The letter " I " is derived from a German word,"ich" In Middle English, this was shortened to "ic" and over the years, this too was shortened to just "i "However, people felt that the "i" was too thin and short, and began capitalizing it to make it taller.
2- "U' is a vowel, yet is sometimes considered consonant. Why?---------------------------------------
In some cases "u" sounds like "yu" as in {university and union}in that case it is taken as consonant and article "a" is used with them.
